About Aubrey
Aubrey’s equestrian journey began at the age of six, and by nine, she was competing in Eventing under the guidance of renowned trainers Bruce Davidson and Denny Emerson. With over two decades of experience in the upper levels of Eventing, Aubrey has had the privilege of working as a student for legendary professionals, including Dressage trainer Gunner Ostergaard and Five-Star Eventer Lellie Ward. She also gained valuable experience working in New Zealand with international sport horse breeder and trainer, Joanne Bridgman.
After returning from New Zealand, Aubrey opened her own training and boarding business in the Southeast, where she specializes in developing young horses of all breeds, guiding them toward the disciplines they are best suited for. Throughout her career, Aubrey has competed through Level 6 in the Jumpers and Fourth Level in Dressage. She is currently bringing along her 5-year-old imported Warmblood, Birke, and continues to train with 5* Eventer Will Faudree to stay current on the latest methods.
Aubrey is deeply passionate about both horses and teaching, and she strives to help her students achieve their showing goals. Whether guiding a horse through its early stages of training or supporting riders in competition, she’s dedicated to helping everyone reach their full potential. Aubrey is also a mom to two kiddos and has an amazing husband who’s supportive of her career which gives her a balanced, grounded perspective that she brings to her work with horses and riders.
With her experience, compassion, and dedication, Aubrey offers a personalized, supportive approach to coaching, making her the ideal choice for those looking to advance their skills and build lasting relationships with their horses. Not to mention she is a Marine Corps Veteran who places an important emphasis in her program on empowering women.
